Do you find yourself drawn to those beautiful icon designs you see on different websites? Those icon designs can really add personality to your website that sets it apart from the rest out there. Before you get yourself all wet in creating your own icon design, you might want to consider some of its guidelines and principles and how you fare with them. Studying these principles will do you good and it’s going to be worth it.

Creating effective icon designs would have to include taking into account simplicity, lighting, audience, size, perspective, and some excellent styles.

The things that will be mentioned here are principles that those who are successful in creating great icon designs are being measured with. They are living through it as they take on every project they are given.

Although each icon can be appreciated as what they are ‘individually’, your approach with icon design should be in a holistic manner. Icons can be used for desktop applications or for any websites. It is good to make each icon look appealing but it is very important to not disregard seeing the bigger picture. Make your icon designs ‘belong’ to the page.

Thats how my new old category is named.

As everyone assume, i am living my life and that’s the part of my website where i will be sharing my experience.

Still studying, that’s good but i am not walking(again) so well.

Last week I had surgery to reconstruct my broken ACL. I am barley walking now, and all that to finally be able to run in few months, hopefully as fast as i was before injury:)

So, I have redesigned this website one more time. Its cleaner, better looking and most important- simple to use.

I am also changing the way this blog/site will work. Most important thing is that i am going to start creating orginal content for this website, every design / coding problem / solution i runned into will be explained / showed here.

I am creating more and more interesting codes that deserv to be published so others can enjoy it.

Next thing i have to master is plugins for WordPress, this will let me create easyli customizable sites and that is something important that i forgot in past. It may need more time but its compleatly worth it!

Amazing movie, its one of this long movies that are keeping you at edge of the seat all the time wondering what will happen. What makes it more interesting is the fact that it is based on true story.

I don’t like telling any details so, just keep in mind that this is great movie.

I redesigned www.jaworowa-niedzwiedzica.com.pl and i like it, it still has some room for improvments but it is working how it supposed to. It was my first time that i based it so heavily on textures and i like the results. Check it out.
